The main functions of 3 axles dropside trailer:

1. The primary transport vehicle for medium- and heavy-duty cargo.

The number of axles in a 3 axles dropside trailer directly determines its load-bearing capacity. Compared to a 2 axles semi-trailer, a 3 axles semi-trailer can carry more weight through its multiple axles, capable of transporting up to 50 tons. It is a key transporter for non-sealed, load-bearing cargo such as building materials, machinery, and bulk goods.

2. Cargo safety protection: preventing falls and lateral shifting.

The sidewall is its core protective structure, serving the entire transportation process:

During transportation, the sidewall (typically 0.6-2.0 meters in height, customizable) prevents lateral movement or longitudinal slippage of cargo caused by turning, braking, and bumps. This is particularly important for bulk cargo (such as sand and gravel, bagged cement) and irregular cargo (such as pipes and profiles), preventing accidents caused by falling cargo (such as injuring pedestrians or impacting following vehicles).

3. Compatible with various loading and unloading scenarios: Flexible compatibility with various types of equipment

Foldable/removable side panels: For loading and unloading large cargo, the side or rear side panels can be folded down or removed, facilitating direct access from the side or rear by forklifts, cranes, and loaders. This accommodates the loading and unloading of palletized cargo and overlong/overwide cargo (within legal limits)

Compatible with manual loading and unloading: For small cargo, such as bagged and boxed cargo, the side panels can be used as temporary steps or supports, making it easier for workers to enter and exit the vehicle and stack cargo, improving manual loading and unloading efficiency.
